Some 25 000 scientists, health workers, government representatives, people, activists, and business leaders will discuss HIV and AIDS in XVIII International AIDS Conference (AIDS 2010). This conference will be held in Austria on 18-23 July 2010.
“Rights here, right now” is theme of this biennial conference. That topic underlines that a booming response to HIV need promoting and protecting human rights. Other important topics are combination prevention scheme, expansion of policies, advances in antiretroviral therapy, programmes for people who inject drugs, governmental accountability for worldwide access and human being rights, and the status of the epidemic in southern Africa and other regions.
This conference concurs with a great attempt to accomplish worldwide access to HIV treatment and prevention by the end of 2010. (mr)
